Samsung Galaxy S8 Full Phone Specification and Review


Samsung galaxy s8 has awesome specifications and features, too power packed to be ignored. It was released in April 2017 and is currently available on various online markets. Samsung galaxy s8 is of two models with a slight difference which is in the number of SIM card they accept and chipset.
When compared with Samsung galaxy s7 some slight differences were identified such as in the Bluetooth version etc. however, s8 is heavier than s7.

Camera

When it comes to camera capacity and resolution, Samsung smartphones are good in providing an awesome experience. The primary camera of s8 has specs 12 MP, f/1.7, 26mm, phase detection autofocus, OIS, LED flash (1/2.5" sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel size, geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 9MP image recording, touch focus, face/smile detection, Auto HDR, panorama) and that of the secondary camera is 8 MP, f/1.7, autofocus, 1440p@30fps, dual video call, Auto HDR.


Hardware and Software

Samsung galaxy s8 comes preinstalled with android version 7 (Naugat). Further, for speed optimization, the QUALCOMM chipset (Snapdragon 835) was used. However, some versions come with a different chipset which is Exynos 8895 Octa – EMEA. These chipsets have different processor specs. Snapdragon has processor specs Octa-core (4x2.35 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo) while Exynos has specs Octa-core (4x2.3 GHz & 4x1.7 GHz) – EMEA.
It has 64GB internal memory with a capacity of accepting up to 256GB microSD card and a 4GB of RAM. The 3000mAh battery provides users with several hours of charge when fully charged. For complete specifications check the table below.
